• Data profiling now scans for personally identifying information (PII) and flags them in the results. [TG-759]
• New user-defined test types have been added to create data tests comparing multiple tables and time periods: Aggregate Balance, Aggregate Minimum, Combo Match, Timeframe Combo Match, Timeframe Combo Gain, Distribution Shift. [TG-736]
• Source Data dialogs have been added to view problem data for each new test type based on user-defined criteria. [TG-738]
• Key-pair authentication is now supported for Snowflake connections. [#13]
• Running processes for data profiling, test generation, or test execution can be aborted through the new Cancel buttons.
• Profiling results can be previewed from within the Test Definitions page. [TG-751]
• Data provenance tagging is now available in the Table Group page. This will be used for future reporting features. [TG-756]
• "Profiling Anomalies" have been renamed to "Hygiene Issues."
• "Functional Data Types" have been renamed to "Semantic Data Types," and a range of new types will be automatically inferred from profiling.
• An App Logs dialog has been added to the project Settings page for easier application troubleshooting. [TG-741]
• We added environment variables for specifying SSL certificates to support HTTPS. [#15]
• We applied general fixes to reduce errors and improve our user experience.
