25 August 2023 Release Notes¶
Beta version 0.6.0
Feature highlights¶
Introducing support for Azure SQL¶
DataOps TestGen is now compatible with Azure SQL databases! Set up TestGen so you can better understand the health of your databases with intelligent profiling and automatically generated tests.
Send results to DataOps Observability: exclusive views¶
Take advantage of the exclusive relationship between DataKitchen products. Now, when you export test results from DataOps TestGen to DataOps Observability, results automatically display with highlighted views and details specific to your work in DataOps TestGen.
Observe instances that include TestGen dataset components, so you can get all the information you need when tests have warnings or fail. Start by investigating trends in data over time, then drill down into the metrics and test definitions to better understand the health of your data as a holistic part of your workflow and processes.
For more information, see Instance Details TestGen Results.
Better profile anomaly investigation¶
To give you a better understanding of your current database, DataOps TestGen now looks for 20 possible profile anomalies in the characteristics of a database profile.
For a complete list, see Profile Anomalies.
