BigQuery

DataOps TestGen is now compatible with Google BigQuery! Set up TestGen so you can better understand the health of your databases with intelligent profiling and automatically generated tests.

File-based Data

DataOps TestGen can now be used to profile and test file-based data that are accessible through Redshift Spectrum and Snowflake external tables. Set up TestGen so you can better understand the health of your structured data in compatible formats like Apache Iceberg tables, Parquet, Avro, ORC, CSV, and JSON.

Other fixes and enhancements

  • Pausing and resuming schedules is supported on the Profiling Schedules and Test Run Schedules dialogs.
  • The Test Definitions, Test Results, Profiling Results, and Hygiene Issues pages have been paginated for improved performance and usability.
  • Profiling and test execution have been updated to support non-standard schema, table, and column identifiers.
  • The Table Freshness and New Shift tests have been improved to avoid overflow errors when dealing with large numeric values in SQL Server.
  • We fixed bugs in profiling for Redshift timestamp, PostgreSQL money and time, and SQL Server text and ntext data types.
  • We fixed bugs in test execution for Timeframe Combo Match and source data lookup for Valid US Zip-3 test types.
  • We applied general fixes to reduce errors and improve our user experience.
