Email Notifications

DataOps TestGen Enterprise now supports email notifications for profiling runs, test runs, and quality scorecards.

The application can be configured to use an email server that implements the Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP), like Amazon Simple Email Service (SES), Azure Communication Services, Google Workspace SMTP Relay Service, etc. See Configure Email Server.

Once SMTP credentials have been configured, users can set up email notifications through the Profiling Notifications dialog on the Profiling Runs or Table Groups pages, the Test Run Notifications dialog on the Test Runs or Test Suites pages, and Scorecard Notifications dialog on the Score Details page.

Other fixes and enhancements

  • We fixed bugs in the execution of the Table Freshness test.
  • We applied general fixes to reduce errors and improve our user experience.
