Configure Kitchens

The Configure Kitchen page offers settings for user access, kitchen override variables, agent group, kitchen-level alerts, and a function to delete the kitchen.

The top of the Configure Kitchen page shows the kitchen name, who the kitchen was created by, the parent kitchen, and an optional field to add a Description.

Access the Configure Kitchen page

  • From the Kitchens page, click Configure Kitchen next to a kitchen name.
  • From the Recipes page, click Configure Kitchen icon next to the kitchen name in the green navigation bar.

Settings

Kitchen settings are separated into five tabs:

  • Users: View the current user list and manage access to the kitchen. For more information, see Manage Kitchen Access.
  • Overrides: Set kitchen override variables, typically for toolchain credentials. See Define Kitchen Override Variables for more information.
  • Agents: Enter an agent group name if available in your customer account. See Specify Agent Groups for more details.
  • Alerts: Add email addresses to receive alerts on specific order run events. For information on how to, see Configure Kitchen Alerts.
  • Advanced: Delete the kitchen from this tab. For more details, see Delete Kitchens.
    • For customers that have kitchen roles activated: Change the kitchen type. See Set Kitchen Type for more details.

Note

Note that while a kitchen description can be added and updated, kitchens cannot be renamed.
