Delete Kitchens

When you delete a kitchen, you permanently remove the resources. This action cannot be undone.

Note that you cannot delete the master kitchen.

Use caution when deleting kitchens. This action is permanent. It cannot be undone, and you cannot retrieve the kitchen resources.

Delete a kitchen

  1. Use one of the following to navigate to the Configure Kitchen page:
    • From the Kitchens page, click Configure Kitchen next to a kitchen name.
    • From the Recipes page, click Configure Kitchen icon next to the kitchen name in the green navigation bar.
  2. Select the Advanced tab.
  3. Click Delete.
  4. Review the warnings in the Delete Kitchen wizard and check optional steps as needed.

    Warning

Wait to reuse kitchen names. If you plan to create a new kitchen with the name of a newly-deleted kitchen, wait at least one minute for the system to complete the cleanup before you start the create kitchen process.

    • Promote order runs: copies all selected order runs to the parent kitchen for reference.
    • Select ingredients: a clean-up task to delete resources used during the creation of the kitchen.

Note that if a rollback ingredient is associated with a mandatory create-kitchen ingredient, the delete process also treats the rollback as mandatory.

  5. Click Next.

  6. Optional. In the Promote Orders step, check the boxes to select some or all orders and order runs to copy to the parent kitchen, if appropriate.

    • Check the box at the bottom of the dialog if you want to combine started/stopped/resumed order runs.

This option will take order runs in these partial states from a single order submission in the child kitchen and combine them sequentially as a single order run in the parent kitchen.

  7. Click Next.

  8. Optional. In the Execute Rollback step, click an ingredient you want to run during the process of deleting your kitchen. Then, check the Run this ingredient checkbox.
    • If necessary, repeat for additional ingredients listed, then click Next.
  9. In the Summary step, click Delete Kitchen.

Tip
