Kitchens Page¶
In Automation, all work is performed within virtual workspaces called kitchens. When you log in, the first view is of the Kitchen page. This page serves as a dashboard listing all the kitchens in your Automation account.
At the start of the list is the central, or top-level kitchen within the customer account. Users who log into this tenant can create additional child kitchens branched from this central kitchen.
Tip
DKCloudCommand option: Use the kitchen-list command in the command line interface.
Tour the Kitchens page¶
Kitchens branch downwards from the top-level kitchen and are sorted alphabetically. Use the search to filter the list by kitchen name or Expand All and Collapse All to adjust the view.
Note that some actions on this page are only available if you have kitchen access. Kitchens appear locked to users who have not been added to a kitchen's user list.
Quick summary view¶
Select any row to open a summary view with more details on a kitchen. Here you can see who created the kitchen and when; any recent changes made to the kitchen; and any recent order runs.
Click View History to go to that kitchen's History page or View Orders to go to the Orders page.
Enter a kitchen¶
To enter a kitchen, click its name.
You'll be taken to the Recipes page, where you can start doing work.
Kitchen tools¶
From the Kitchens page, you can:
- Create a child kitchen.
- Merge a kitchen down.
- Merge a kitchen up.
- Open the Configure Kitchen page to manage kitchen users, kitchen override variables, agent groups, and alerts, or to delete the kitchen.
