GPC File Structure and Configuration

Automation provides a pre-configured General Purpose Container (GPC) container image ready to support any database, computing, programming, provisioning, data visualization, reporting, and business intelligence tools an organization uses. You can add the GPC as a container node in your recipe graphs.

The container image is built with the DataKitchen Interface Layer and requires specific files and file structures to be present.

The following files and folder descriptions are necessary for all container nodes. More details on the files and folder structure for all container nodes, not specific to the GPC can be found in the Container Node File Structure documentation.

The files and folder shown in the tree below are all required.

Select from the following list for more information, including properties, descriptions, and examples, for each file and folder:

Warning

If the container node file structure is not maintained, the behavior of the node is not guaranteed.
