Global Vault¶
The global vault contains secrets that are available for use by recipes in any kitchen. It is turned on by default.
Use cases¶
- Use the global vault alone to store secrets for all kitchens.
- Deactivate the global vault and use only kitchen vaults to store kitchen-specific secrets.
- Use the global vault in conjunction with kitchen vaults.
User access¶
All users can view secrets, but not their underlying values. All users can edit, create, or delete secrets contained in the global vault, as long as it's not configured as a private, custom vault.
