View Events and Runs¶
Every event that the system receives is aggregated and listed under Events in the UI.
From the Events page, Observability displays the event data across two tabs: All Events and Batch Runs.
You can get an overview of the events happening in your data estate from these tabs, or, drill down into specific events and batch pipeline runs.
How to view events and runs¶
Observability data is always associated with a specific project. To see a collection of the events for a given project:
- Use the drop-down in the menu to select a Project.
- Select Events from the menu.
The Events page opens to the All Events tab.
Tip
Filter events by groups of components. From the Components page, select your components, then use the bulk Action drop-down to select View Events. You'll be redirected to the All Events tab with filters applied.

Timestamps display in the UI as Mmm DD, YYYY hh:mm:ss AM/PM in the
user's browser timezone. All system timestamps adhere to the ISO 8601 format
YYYY-MM-DDTHH:mm:ss.sssZ. Observability assumes UTC when no timezone is specified.
