Configure Instance Conditions¶
Observability starts and ends instances based on the conditions you set for a journey.
You can configure conditions based on batch pipeline run behavior, a schedule, or the default instance behavior.
How to configure instance conditions¶
Follow the steps in the documentation below to create each type of instance condition:
- Configure Batch Instance Conditions
- Configure Schedule Instance Conditions
- Configure Default Instance Conditions
Note
See Define Instances for an overview of all instance behaviors.
Upcoming instances¶
Once instance conditions are set, you can monitor a journey's upcoming instances from the Company and Project Overview pages.
For more information, see Upcoming Instances.
Payload instances¶
Payload instances are tracked separately from the other instances of a journey. You do not have to configure payload instance start conditions but must configure an end condition.
To learn how to set up payload instance conditions, see Configure Payload Instance Conditions.
