Agent Changelog

All production agents use the same Docker image. The following provides a summary of the image updates and releases.

Releases

  • 13 May 2024: v2.0.1

A bug was fixed where API calls to Observability were made to the wrong URL in certain cases. [#5] - 22 April 2024: v2.0.0

We have released an open-source version (Apache 2.0 license) of DataOps Observability! The open-source version is fully functional for a single data engineer, while the enterprise version has additional features for teams and enterprises.

A bug was fixed in the Databricks agent when authenticating with Azure Service Principal. - 22 March 2024: v1.5.4

Bug fixes were made to the Airflow agent and the Docker deploy script for agents. - 19 March 2024: v1.5.3

The Databricks agent has been enhanced to watch for repaired runs and collect MessageLog events on failed tasks. - 18 March 2024: v1.5.2

A production agent has been released for AutoSys with bug fixes and improvements to how runs and tasks are collected. - 13 March 2024: v1.5.1

A beta agent has been released for Qlik. - 6 March 2024: v1.4.1

Improvements to logging and timestamp handling have been made to the Autosys agent.

We applied general fixes to reduce errors and improve the robustness of the agents. - 5 March 2024: v1.4.0

The Databricks agent has been updated to collect RunStatus events for tasks. - 27 February 2024: v1.3.0

A beta agent has been released for AutoSys. - 14 February 2024: v1.2.2

The Microsoft Power BI agent has been enhanced to support basic authentication.

The Airflow agent has been updated to collect RunStatus events for tasks.

We applied general fixes to reduce errors and improve the robustness of the agents. - 4 January 2024: v1.0.0

A production agent has been released for Azure Synapse Analytics, Databricks, Airflow, Microsoft Power BI, and Microsoft SSIS.
