Feature highlights

In preparation for upcoming improvements to the Observability integration agents, the API Keys page and Available Integrations agent configuration steps now include the service account API key option Transmit heartbeat.

This additional service account API key permission will allow agents to send a heartbeat to Observability—so you can feel confident that your deployed agents are fully functional, and take action if they're not.

At this time, the heartbeat feature is still in development. When the feature is released, any agents that have previously been deployed to your data estate will require new service account keys, configured with the Transmit heartbeat permission.

Other fixes and enhancements

• We applied general fixes to reduce errors.
• We made various improvements to our user experience. Our help documentation has been updated to reflect these changes.
