Feature highlights¶
Stay tuned for new DataKitchen features in coming releases!
Other fixes and enhancements¶
-
You can now add tool details to better distinguish your Observability components and know at-a-glance which component represents which tool. For example, include a
component_toolvalue with your Apache Airflow events so that associated batch pipeline components display the Airflow iconography. If you prefer to set this information from the UI, update the component details with the corresponding Tool. For complete details, see Manage Components.Note
When the tool type is set for a component, the information displays on the Components page, in the component details, from the Events page, in the journey Relationships tab, and in the instance details.
- The expected start and/or end times are now included in the emails sent when a run alert rule triggers. See Define Rules for steps on how you can set up rules for batch pipeline run alerts. [PD-1469]
- We've added two new instance-level alerts: Tests failed and Tests have warnings. You can see these alerts from the Instances page and in the header of the instance details. For information about the alerts that Observability can generate for instances, see Instance Status and Alerts. [PD-1430]
- Dataset arrival window expectations now include a minimum duration of 5 minutes. For steps on how to create dataset expectations, see Arrival Window. [PD-1542]
- We applied general fixes to reduce errors.
- We made various improvements to our user experience. Our help documentation has been updated to reflect these changes.
