Feature highlights

New bulk component action

You can now create new journeys directly from the Components page.

Select the components you want to include in a new journey, then use the Action > Add to New Journey bulk action to build a journey from any number of existing components.

Other fixes and enhancements

  • You can now click any or that appear on the Instances page or in the instance details header to open a dialog with more information about the alerts. [OBS-1576]
  • To showcase different component types, we've introduced a component legend and a new border design for server and dataset components that appear in the journey Relationships tab and instance details Status tab. [OBS-1770]
  • We optimized the Project Overview page to better highlight instances that span multiple days. [OBS-1833]
  • The instance details header now includes:
  • To provide better context for the infrastructure that sends events to Observability, the component_tool field sets the tool type and icon that display across pages in the UI. Observability now includes:
    • Apache Impala (apache_impala)
    • Neo4j (neo4j)

  • We applied general fixes to reduce errors.
  • We made various improvements to our user experience. Our help documentation has been updated to reflect these changes.
