Empty Instances

One of the following tooltips appears on the Project Overview page to alert you:

No run data to display.

Details

When you open the Project Overview page and drill down into Today's Journeys, some instances may expand but include no run data.

Potential causes

Some instances can appear empty. This might happen when:

• The system starts an instance according to what you set in the instance conditions, but no batch pipeline run events have been received.
• An instance spans multiple days and its batch pipeline runs don't occur every day.
• An instance does not include a batch pipeline component, so no runs can occur. For example, an instance may only include dataset components and datasets do not have run events.

Solution

To check for run data on a different day, use the and arrows.

To investigate a specific instance further, click its Gantt chart bar. Observability will open the instance details and you can investigate the details as needed.
