2 June 2026 Release Notes¶
Open Source Version 5.48.0
Feature highlights¶
Salesforce Data 360¶
DataOps TestGen Enterprise is now compatible with Salesforce Data 360 (formerly Data Cloud)! Set up TestGen so you can better understand the health of your data objects with intelligent profiling and automatically generated tests.
For connection setup details, see Database Access Requirements.
Expanded MCP server tools¶
The TestGen Model Context Protocol (MCP) server gains a much larger set of tools, letting AI assistants do more without leaving the conversation.
- Create and manage test definitions, including notes.
- Explore profiling results in depth — search across columns, review frequent values and patterns, and compare profiling runs over time.
- Triage and disposition hygiene issues.
- View, compare, and track the status and history of profiling and test runs.
- Look up quality scores and their breakdowns.
- Manage schedules and notification settings.
For the full tool reference, see Supported Tools.
Automatic data retention¶
You can now configure data retention settings to automatically remove old profiling and test history on a schedule. TestGen always keeps the most recent run for each table group and test suite, so scoring, monitoring, and hygiene baselines stay intact. For details, see Manage data retention.
Other fixes and enhancements¶
- We added a Give Feedback option to the Help menu so you can send suggestions directly to the team.
- We improved anomaly detection on Volume and Metric monitors to reduce false positives.
- The Test Definitions page now loads and pages through large test suites faster.
- We fixed a bug that prevented the display of profiling results when a SQL Server table contained far-future dates.
- We improved the reliability of several test types and hygiene checks across all supported databases.
- We applied general fixes to reduce errors, increase security, and improve our user experience.
